Middle School students were taught during their health class rotation why it is important to maintain a sense of balance in their busy lives. They learned that it is important to be comfortable spending time alone in order to reflect and organize their present lives. As part of the class, I presented skills that taught the students how to be responsible, plan ahead, and think before they act in order to reduce stress.
The students also learned how to be trustworthy, respectful and compassionate, and how to demonstrate good citizenship, aligning with the school’s core values and mission to graduate healthy, balanced and well-rounded young adults.
